"Providing our customers with the highest possible value" is the creed, which guides each of our four divisions: Glass, Industrial, Plumbing and OEM. Founded in 1956, T.G. Rankin Co., Inc. has grown from a one-man sales agency into a multi-divisional organization.

The Industrial Glass Division, with the help of our distributors, and OEM customers, has enjoyed a long period of sustained growth. This success is directly related to our commitment to providing exceptional value for our customers. Our stock in trade is a large inventory of Maxos, Duran and TGR Brand industrial sight glass products.  Better value, resulting from our purchasing power, huge inventory and our ability to custom cut and package, makes us the logical choice for exporters, distributors and original equipment manufacturers.

Industrial Division, working with engineers, plant management and plant maintenance, offers jet pumps which double as heaters and mixers; Liquid Level gages, sight flow indicators,flow meters, along with replacement sight glass and gaskets.  We also provide metal, rubber, teflon and fabric flexible pipe connectors for misalignment, expansion and vibration.

Wastewater Division, representing quality manufacturers, provides technical assistance with sales of Submersible Wastewater and Sewage Pumps, Sump Basins, Septic Tanks and Systems, Grinder Stations, Low Pressure sewer systems, switches, control panels, alarms, check valves, sump pump backup systems and accessories. Sales efforts include wholesale-plumbing suppliers and also include hands on work with developers, engineers, contractors and board membership on local plumbing and engineering councils. The Wastewater group promotes clean water issues throughout the Midwest.  Activities include the marketing of on-site waste treatment products; Polyethylene Septic Tanks, Effluent Filters, Submersible Pumps, Electronic Controls, custom pump chambers and state of the art alternative septic treatment systems.  

Wastewater’s leading onsite technologies include; Peat Filtration of effluent Fixed film ATUs, sand filtering, shallow trench subsurface Drip Dispersal, UV disinfection and Automated FOG (fats, oils and grease) monitoring.  We offer localized onsite wastewater treatment for residential subdivisions and commercial applications.  We specialize in projects where great distances from municipal sewers require pumping to treatment or where adverse soils make conventional wastewater treatment impossible.

The Wastewater Group’s activities include participation in educational, legislative and enforcement issues in the area of rural and municipal public health. For the advancement of clean water issues, among others, we support the following professional organizations: NOWRA, MSO, IOWWA, KWEA, EMSO The Greater St. Louis PSC.

OEM Division represents several manufacturers offering a broad array of products which include Wire Forms, Sintered Metal Parts, Metal Stampings, Screw Machine Parts, Cold Headed Fasteners, Springs, and fabricated metal tubing.
