Clear Heavy Wall Gage Glass. Heavy Wall Glass Code 7740. Borosilicate tubular gage glass has the highest pressure ratings of any tubular gage glass manufactured and is available in clear or redline. Heavy Wall gage glass is commonly used in liquid level gage and sight flow indicator applications that exceed the temperature and pressure of high pressure tubular gage glass.
Heavy Wall Gage Glass is restricted to a maximum length of 48 inches.
The maximum recommended length in steam boiler service is 24".
